Euclid House Bed and Breakfast Reviews

“HIGHLY recommend!”

My husband and I stayed for two nights with Kay and Larry in the Cozy Alcove room of the Euclid House and it was an absolutely wonderful stay. We arrived in desperate need of a shower after 4 days of backpacking in Utah and they still welcomed us with open arms. The location of the house could not be better – we thoroughly enjoyed walking from shop to shop and hopping between restaurants for bites to eat and bevs. We were impressed by all that Carbondale had to offer and loved being in close proximity to it all. The view of the mountain Sopris in the background of it all was an added bonus! Kay and Larry were able to provide excellent recommendations for additional points to visit by car in the surrounding areas of Colorado. Breakfasts at their house are something to look forward to! I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to stay in Carbondale, as I can’t imagine a better choice!

“Cute & Cozy”

My stay here was wonderful. I was in town to look at possibly moving there and Kay and Larry had a wealth of knowledge about the area. I stayed in the bay room and it was very comfortable and quiet. I was also able to work in multiple locations around the house and never felt uncomfortable. In fact, I wanted to take the square, green chair home with me because it was the perfect place for working on my computer. The bathroom was very large and had plenty of space. I am rather tall so the shower head was a little low but everything else was beautiful. The best part is breakfast. Kay is an excellent cook and the homemade granola and breads were so delicious. All the food was healthy and organic and that made it even better.
I would definitely stay there again.

“Beautiful B & B”

Recently had the pleasure of meeting Kay and Larry @ the beautiful Euclid House in Carbondale Colorado! Owners couldn’t be more gracious and welcoming after a hectic travel day. Delicious breakfast was served before my early departure. I will definitely return when I have more time to relax and enjoy this wonderful property!

“Wonderful Getaway”

My partner and I stayed for two nights at the Euclid House and had a lovely time. Kay and Larry are so welcoming and warm, and the house is quiet, clean, and perfectly located two blocks from very quaint downtown Carbondale, with easy access to anywhere in the Roaring Fork Valley. We stayed in the downstairs Bay Room, and had the big sunny first-floor bathroom to ourselves. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful–freshly baked breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, egg scrambles, coffee and tea–and Kay is attentive to any dietary restrictions or preferences people might have. Kay and Larry have lived in the area for many years and can provide any information one might need. They are the perfect hosts. This is a terrific place, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

“Lovely, Comfortable, Great Location”

Kay has created a lovely and welcoming B&B. I stayed in the new downstairs bedroom, and I loved the comfy bed and the enormous window alcove. Once I arrived in town I had no need for my car; this cozy home is located just blocks from restaurants and shops, and from the bike/running path that can take you all the way to Aspen, or to Glenwood Springs. I look forward to staying again!

“Top Rating!”

The Euclid House is just lovely. We stayed on the main floor, in the BAY ROOM and highly recommend it! First of all, you don’t have to carry suitcases upstairs! It was obviously recently redone, as I recognized the beautiful Pottery Barn bedding. The bed was enormously comfortable. The chandelier above the bed added glamour and beauty! The bay window gave a great spot to put a suitcase. And the ceiling with wooden beams – it was a combination of glamor and rustic.

“Perfect B&B”

After 5 nights of tent camping, Euclid House was a welcome reprieve. The accommodation was cozy, yet elegant. The beds were like nestling into a cloud. The atmosphere was as comfortable as visiting an old friend. The lovely Kay recommended hikes, restaurants, where to order the best martini……even where to stop en route for the best ribs and local art. You will want to return to Carbondale and to Euclid. I know I do! Soon…please!
